This lid is sturdy and easy to clean. It doesn't take on the plastic taste that a lot do, nor does it hold the taste of the last drink after cleaning.

I bought my LTT water bottle in 2021 and the customer support for that bottle has been exceptional, even replacing the lid when the old type broke. Given that, I bought a spare lid of the old type. I was concerned the screws on the outside of the new lid would ruin the "mouth feel" but this was largely a paper tiger.

After the seals on that old lid broke, after years of heavy use, customer service were as helpful as ever. The new V2 lid has much easier seal removal and I don't expect it to break similarly. I'm glad to be able to keep the bottle going because its still great.

I also bought a cheap wide-mouth hydroflask compatible lid from Amazon and it fits perfectly on my LTT bottle. So if you have an old hydroflask whose lid or seals has broken, this LTT lid should fit.

It sucks that the shipping has to be so high, but thats the nature of shipping to Europe so don't let it dissuade you from the lid. As part of a larger order, or if you're shipping to the mainland US/ Canada, this lid is a great upgrade for an old bottle.

Ordered a spare one just so I can easily put a clean one on my bottle and have the other one with my dishes so I end up cleaning it properly.
I love the feel in my hand with the handle, makes it easy to carry it around and also when drinking offers a kind of lever to hook my hand under.
The cap threads very well and it's secure against leaks. The opening also seems just the right size to easily drink from while moving and still be easy to clean.
The rubbers are pretty easy to remove to properly clean, only the one in the cap can be hard to get out with just your fingers. I actually have a little allen key in my kitchen drawer now because it's perfect to hook through the little hole and pull the thing out.

Much easier to clean than the original.
